Woodside Primary School Out of School Hours Care Service
Woodside Primary School OSHC
OSHC is located on the beautiful grounds of Woodside Primary School. Woodside OSHC is run by the Governing Council of Woodside Primary School and is an accredited child care provider.
Woodside OSHC complies with the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place requirements.
Our staff, in collaboration with the children, put together a fun and varied program each week based on the principals of reflective practice.
Our program includes a focus on sustainable living which involves spending time in our veggie garden. Children are involved in the whole process, from planting seeds to cooking and eating the end product.
Our staff provide children with a variety of multi-cultural experiences. These range from tasting foods that children around the world eat, making crafts relevant to specific cultures and participating in games and sporting activities that children of their age groups play.
We also encourage a very active program. The children learn about a variety of sports and the importance of physical activity for health and wellbeing.
